Take the Leap Campaign

IrishJobs has partnered with career and coaching psychologist Sinead Brady to launch a new campaign with the aim of giving young professionals the confidence and incentive to advance their careers as we emerge from the Covid pandemic.

The ‘Take the Leap’ campaign comes as our latest jobseeker research reveals that 8 out of 10 Irish workers have reassessed their career options in the past 18 months. With almost half admitting they are looking for a new job and over a third saying they are looking to change their career.

Over the coming weeks, Sinead will share her insights and advice with jobseekers in a series of blog posts. The campaign culminates in career Q&A with Sinead on the IrishJobs Instagram account in early December.

“As the economy rebounds in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic, jobseekers are in the driving seat. For those looking to change roles, now is the perfect time to reassess career priorities and set out a plan to achieve them. ” says Sinead.

“As the year draws to a close we can anticipate an increase in job seeking activity, as many job seekers re-evaluate their priorities for the year ahead. The good news is that there has never been a better time to look for a new job. According to the latest IrishJobs.ie Jobs Index, job vacancies rates are currently above pre-pandemic levels. This puts employees in a favourable position to change jobs and to negotiate better terms of employment.   Working with IrishJobs, I hope to encourage people to ‘Take the Leap’ and take the next step in their career.”
