Can your company provide opportunities for Trinity graduates with an intellectual disability?

The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID), which promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in education and society, is keen to expand the network of companies who contribute to their work by providing work placements and offering opportunities for students to develop key skills and competencies.

Known as  Business Partners,  these companies  provide practical and financial assistance to support the work of the centre to enhance the employment prospects of TCPID students and graduates.

IrishJobs.ie has been a Business Partner of TCPID  for over a decade, actively promoting  the work of the TCPID to our clients.

We are also happy to share that TCPID graduate Brian O Byrne recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary with IrishJobs.ie.

Brian joined IrishJobs.ie in 2008 shortly after he graduated with the Certificate in Contemporary Living from Trinity.

Brian is a popular and valued member of the IrishJobs.ie team. He makes an important contribution to the business by offering administrative support at reception and keeping the office tidy during the day.

Brian’s 10th-anniversary celebrations included a photo album recording his history with IrishJobs.ie and signed by the whole team, a gift from the company and lunch in Milano with some of his closest work colleagues.

Marie Devitt, TCPID Pathways Coordinator says “The TCPID are proud to have worked with IrishJobs.ie over the past 10 years. The IrishJobs.ie team were one of our original business partners and have provided incredible support to us throughout this time. We look forward to building the partnership even further and working together to help build a more inclusive society by promoting employment and educational opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.”
