“I love being part of society, getting a pay cheque, being able to grumble about having to pay taxes  and being able to save money and being able to work off a budget.”  Margaret Turley

Helping jobseekers to find a job is what we do which is why we are delighted to support the work of the Trinity Centre for People With Intellectual Disabilities (TCPID).

Based within the School of Education in Trinity College Dublin TCPID aims to promote the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in education and society.

As a person with an intellectual disability I am aware that when we dream big and others dream big for us then we can achieve our potential. Having a job makes me feel accepted and included and a fully fledged adult who can contribute to society.”  Mei Lin Yap

The TCPID runs a two year Level 5 Certificate in Arts, Science and Inclusive Applied Practice for students with intellectual disabilities.

In order to achieve their aim of an inclusive society, the TCPID relies on the support of business partners who provide both financial and practical support.

Practical support can include:

  1. Student or Graduate Work Placements.
  2. Student Training Workshops
  3. Support for Student Projects
  4. Student Mentoring
