With a major product overhaul in the pipeline and multiple greenfield projects kicking off, they're seeking a PHP Lead who can set standards, guide the team, and deliver at scale. * Leading a team of PHP developers across feature development and system architecture * Designing and implementing scalable, secure backend services using PHP (Laravel/Symfony)
Own the technical direction of a core backend domain, aligned to business priorities * Lead solution design and architecture across distributed backend systems * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offshore engineering partners * Champion code quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability * Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, solutioning, and best practices * Represent your domain in cross-team technical planning and discussions * Drive continuous improvement in delivery workflows and technical standards * 6+ years of backend development experience with PHP 7/8 * 2+ years' exposure in a technical lead or domain ownership capacity * Strong experience with Symfony or similar modern PHP frameworks * Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, scalable architecture, and clean coding practices
