The number of jobs advertised online has increased by 7% since this time last year according to the latest IrishJobs.ie Job Index.
The job market also continued to improve throughout the second quarter of the year as jobs grew by 4% compared to the first three months of the year.
Sectors which performed well included Environmental, Health, and Safety with an increase of 47%, jobs in Engineering and Utilities increased by 38% and jobs in Production, Manufacturing, and Materials were up by 30%.
