Three Ireland

Launched in 2005, Three has to date invested almost €2 billion in building our Irish business and in July 2014, completed a deal to purchase O2 in Ireland. Three is now Ireland’s second largest mobile operator with 35% market share and over two million customers (as of March 2015).

Three operates 2G, 3G and 4G networks, with 96% coverage nationwide. We will invest a further €300m in building our state-of-the-art 4G network over the next two years.

Three is 100% owned by CK Hutchison Holdings (CK Hutchison), a renowned multinational conglomerate committed to innovation and technology. Its diverse businesses employ approximately 270,000 people in over 50 countries worldwide. CK Hutchison’s operations range from some of the world’s biggest port operators and retailers, to innovative telecommunications and data services. CK Hutchison is a leading global operator of mobile telecommunications and data services and a major owner and operator of fibre-optic fixed-line networks in Hong Kong.
