HedgeServ reviews

Awful, unsupportive, bitter environment. - would not recommend this dept.

Employee in Accountancy in Dublin, Ireland
former employee in 2018

The Best Bits

Absolutely nothing. This was an incredible difficult team to work for.

Things to improve

Trainning. From the day I started in hedgeserv is was always an attitude of figure it out for yourself which to some point is an ok approach but not when the employee isn’t spending hours at her desk with no idea of how to complete a task. Management strategy and training approach needs to be severely altered. There is no trainning plan in place for new starts onthe corporate accounts team but there was for the NAV teams which I felt unfair. There was no given goals about the tasks u were completing and expected delivery time / date only told as soon as possible.

About The Job

Responsible for all the accounts payable and accounts receivable of the company. My task was to look at accounts receivable and montior the AUA of each of clients and examine funds that had high peaks and dips in AUA and establish a rational for it. I also examined the fees of each of the clients ensuring they were being billed correctly for each of there admin and annciallary fees.
