Bord na Móna is an iconic Irish company going through significant change as we move towards a more sustainable future. This change brings with it exciting opportunities across our diverse businesses. There is always something exciting happening in Bord na Móna, whether it’s large scale renewable energy projects, biomass supply and procurement, resource recovery, innovative IT and engineering projects, renewable fuels development, or our ever growing horticulture markets. All offer a challenging yet rewarding place to work where you’ll be part of a diverse and inclusive team.
Naturally Driven: In a world where our needs are increasingly complex, and energy production, waste disposal and environmental conservation are all interconnected like never before, Bord na Móna has a pivotal role to play. Bord na Móna is not just about peat or wind, we’re about innovation and problem solving. At the heart of Bord na Móna is the ability to take something ordinary and make it better, make it useful. We have a deep rooted drive to make the most of our natural resources and to deliver more sustainable solutions for the benefit of the communities we serve across the island of Ireland. What we do is second nature to us. We are naturally driven.

|"The Bord na Móna Graduate Programme gives graduates the opportunity to work in different businesses and departments throughout the company. You get a great insight into various aspects of the businesses during each placement and get to work with a wide variety of people. This opportunity would rarely arise for those who join the company outside of the Graduate Programme and it provides a wonderful opportunity to gain vast experience that can be used in a future career either within Bord na Móna|

|“There’s no such thing as an average day. Work might be carried on from the day before, or you could get a call out to the bog to a machine that isn’t working. We head out by tractor or rail, diagnose the problem and fix it there if we can. If the problem can’t be fixed on site, it’s back to the works to weld, cut and fabricate as required. Going out on site is great, because you’re learning on the job as you fix the problems.”|
