The Best Bits

I liked the fact there was no commute, getting up and going to work. It was basically taking calls and talking users through their problems. The exposure to different issues is a positive, you'll never have the answer to all issues so you just go with it. You do learn alot, see alot of issues and just work through them using a workflow.

Things to improve

I guess there was nearly 30 different shifts for working which you vote on so you select your most suitable, there could be late nights and sometimes you could get to work quite late also with the shift there was split days on some of the shift. Some people would find this okay but I found myself not having 2 days together off for over 6 months and that was hard to plan for outside of work, I found this difficult. Giving the shift slight changes so that all shifts meant having a brake of 2 days together would be a benefit to all.

About The Job

Ok so for this type of job you will help customers over the phone. The issues will not be obvious, so you maybe required to escalate calls depending on what the issue is about. You will see what I mean when the calls come through to you. You are the face of the company. Showing empathy and concern and a willingness to help for customers is paramount to being a good AHA adviser. Calls maybe software related sometimes hardware but a majority of issues software related. Trying to isolate this can be the most time consuming but using the information provided should be able to resolve most issues.

The Best Bits

The people are friendly. There’s a lot of opportunities. There’s health care and dental insurance plans. There’s also onsite doctors, dentists. You can also have a trainer for the onsite gym and get health and nutrition assistance. You get discounts on apple products for yourself, friends and family.

Things to improve

Everything as we know needs improvement depending on the individual but as it stands Apple is doing really well with feedback from their employees considering there is thousands onsite and even more off site working from home. They constantly work to improve on everything they do. 

About The Job

An iOS advisor has to assist customers anything Apple. Ranges from iPhone to Macs and also assisting with iCloud while strictly following data protection with good cause. We have metrics to meet Such as call handling, compliance and customer satisfaction to name the three big ones. And help is always there if needed so your never alone while working here.
