A Brilliant experience

The Best Bits

I worked art Oxford for over 4 years until the end of 2016 and only left for family reasons. I would definitely not have left the company otherwise and would have stayed there for life. If I get the chance to go back in the future I would jump at it. The staff where excellent to work with, The girls in HR were so easy to talk to and always had an open door policy. There is excellent career progression within the company and excellent commission to be made from your hard work. They are definitely a company that pays well for hard work unlike many companies who pay you and try and get you to do more for the same pay. They also have fantastic social events for the staff and while it is a competitive environment there is certainly no animosity between staff. I would highly recommend working for Oxford, it would be a brilliant career move.

Things to improve

Maybe a small point but not a criticism more flexible working hours like finish early on Friday

Would not recommend this company

The Best Bits

Good Mon-Fri working hours. Central Location.

Things to improve

There seems to be a "boys club" company culture (whether higher management recognize this or not). Changing the reward system to focus on professional achievements and work ethic rather than who you know would even out the playing field for male and female staff and may help retain quality staff. Management styles could also be improved with more training. The recruitment style the company enforces is extremely restrictive in comparison to other companies making the job unnecessarily difficult while using outdated metrics.

The Best Bits

very positive atmosphere and good work ethos and excellent training

Things to improve

As the company gets bigger they need to keep all communication channels open.
