Temporary Teaching Fellow in Economics

The School of Economics at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary teaching fellow in economics.  The duration of the appointment is 7 Months, beginning in January 2013 and ending 31 July 2013.  The appointee will be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervise MA students. We are seeking a scholar who has completed or is near to completing a PhD in economics and is actively seeking to publish in peer reviewed academic outlets.  The teaching fellow will diversify and enhance the academic activity carried out by other colleagues in the School and will work collaboratively with them in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

• Postgraduate degree in economics
• Evidence of a commitment to teaching
• Evidence of potential to undertake academic administrative work
• Ability to collaborate and work in teams
