The Role
This role reports to the Head of Tax and is a contract role to cover a Maternity leave.

Key Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but not necessarily be limited to the following;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual corporation tax reporting for Group Reporting purposes
- Prepare annual Irish Revenue corporation tax computation and returns
- Oversight of the insurance premium tax and stamp duty computations and quarterly submission of same
- Manage the VAT compliance
- Liaise with branch colleagues in relation to Irish tax matters
- Work on ad-hoc tax matters, including automation of internal processes
- Ongoing review and documentation of processes
- Assist with ongoing training of colleagues in the area of VAT processing
- Interact with key business groups to ensure all tax issues are considered and dealt with appropriately
- Assisting in resolving tax-related queries from all internal departments.

Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Experience
-Qualified Accountant/Tax Consultant with at least 2 years PQE

Technical Competencies
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP and Word
- Numerical with strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of general insurance and accounting for general insurance
- Good understanding of Zurich’s organisation, aims, objectives and departmental procedures. Non
