The role: Staffing Services Manager

As part of our world-class recruiting team, you're charged with finding the most interesting candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of scrappiness and a diversity of thought to all they do. You're responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the magic of working at Google. You are creative and driven, with an interpersonal savvy that allows you to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.

You work closely with the executive management team to develop recruiting strategies. You prioritize team resources and manage performance metrics to achieve hiring targets and optimize client and candidate experience.

As a Staffing Services Manager, you'll provide thought leadership, career development and strategic direction to a team of Recruiting Coordinations, Resume Reviewers and Job Posting Specialists who truly enable every aspect of the hiring process while providing extraordinary service to Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Candidates every step along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage regionally dispersed team who support clients across Tech, Portfolio and Global Business, providing recruitment coordination, resume screening and job posting services.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and leadership, instilling a sense of exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and process ownership.
  • Create and sustain a positive team environment which serves to motivate and retain a large, flexible workforce that includes a mix of employees and contingent workers.
  • Manage team metrics, headcount and resource planning, load balancing, productivity benchmarks, and SLAs.
  • Lead selected strategic initiatives and partner with other Staffing Services Managers globally to identify and drive system and process improvements.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong domain knowledge and expertise in Staffing. Results-driven, ability to analyze metrics and data to regularly inform the strategy for achieving team objectives.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing new processes; a keen interest for process and achieving efficiencies.
  • Strong track record of solving complex problems and delivering a considerable impact as a manager.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with all levels of employees and candidates.
  • Ability to drive efforts and projects through influence, relationships, and broad knowledge base.
  • Proven ability of managing and developing employees and maximize individual and team performance while maintaining a fun working environment.
