Betfair are looking for a Content Manager with a deep understanding of, and experience in, creating and managing short-form content promotions in an ecommerce environment.
 
Working in a Site and Content team of around 10, you will be responsible for writing short, snappy, exciting on-site promotions content and marketing messages in order to increase customer conversion and betting activity.
You will be based in Dublin and report to the Senior Promotions Manager (based in London).

The Team
 
The Site and Content team is at the forefront of ensuring our website engages with our customers, presenting them with compelling content, great promotions, the breadth and depth of our betting markets and relevant gaming products. The team works closely with the other marketing functions, creative teams and trading in order to manage the homepage and other key content and cross-sell areas around the site.
 
Role Summary
 
Betfair are looking for a Content Manager with a deep understanding of, and experience in, creating and managing short-form content promotions in an ecommerce environment. Working in a Site and Content team of around 10, you will be responsible for writing short, snappy, exciting on-site promotions content and marketing messages in order to increase customer conversion and betting activity. You will be based in Dublin and report to the Senior Promotions Manager (based in London).
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and manage on-site content placements according to sports schedules and revenue opportunities.
  • Meet commercial and content targets related to customer conversion and increased betting activity.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the site is topical, dynamic, fresh and targeted at all times.
  • Create and manage content schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the content proposition, operational efficiencies and ways to better engage with our customer base on site.
 
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience of creating short-form content placements online (preferably in an ecommerce environment).
  • Background in content management.
  • Experience of working with content management systems and scheduled publishing processes.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, agile, customer-focused online business.
 
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Background in sports content.
  • Background in betting or gaming.
  • Experience of managing content across multiple channels (mobile, iPad, etc).
  • Experience of social content (Twitter, Facebook).
  • Working knowledge of HTML
