Site Finance Lead

To ensure we continue to deliver this profitability, excellence and consistency we are recruiting for a Finance Lead for our site in Shillelagh in Co Wicklow, Ireland.

The job of Finance Lead works as a true business partner with the site leadership team at our Shillelagh site to ensure the effective delivery of the Site and division strategy in line with statutory, Kerry Group and best practice standards. Your role will also be to lead the finance team on site to demonstrate the right behaviours and technical qualities required.

The job will involve:

Control & Reporting

  • Provision of quality information and analysis of key financial data
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Kerry procedures
  • Follow agreed standardised metrics and reports
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk

Business Partnering

  • Taking a lead role in target setting and performance management to deliver business objectives
  • Pro actively use information generated to challenge and influence local management
  • Influence and coordinate the development of the strategic business plans

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Streamline the processes for information delivery
  • Supporting business change in the use Kerry processes and systems
  • Promote and embrace a culture of continuous improvement

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead the Finance team with clearly defined and standardised roles and objectives
  • Ensure team members are coached and developed to maximise their potential
  • Promote and support the Kerry Foods Finance training programme
  • Ensure engagement with other operational and commercial finance teams
  • Promote involvement of team members in cross-functional activity
  • Ownership of personal development

To apply for the role of Site Finance Lead we are looking for a qualified Finance professional with an inquisitive mind who can really challenge and engage with the leadership team on site, truly Business Partnering to ensure we maximize profitability on site. You should be able to work with a changing business that really works at pace and be able to demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.

We are looking for a candidate with recognised accountancy qualifications (ACCA, CIMA or equivilant) with excellent analytical and numerical skills. You should have lead, coached and developed teams and we are looking for you to have a proven track record in demonstrating strong commercial focus and awareness as well as decision making and analytical skills.
