Senior/Technical Business Analyst

Job Overview:
We have a requirement for a Technical Business Analyst within the Technical Business Management (TBM) department. We are currently looking for a Management Information System Analyst responsible for the continuous improvement of the Management Information System (MIS) solutions and implementing a Metrics Program.

Involved in data analysis and working with Pramerica relevant stakeholders to develop and enhance the Metrics Program.

The role embraces Program Management Reporting and Managing Internal Applications. The person will work within the TBM department servicing the needs of the Technical Business Management, Development, QA, Operations, Finance and all other shared services departments.

In order to apply, you will have proven ability in an MIS role coupled with data analysis and communication skills. The successful candidate will be highly computer literate, including advanced user capabilities with MS Excel and an understanding of business intelligence software.

Major Responsibilities:

Program Management Reporting and Analysis

• Works closely with the business to understand and pre-empt their reporting requirements
• Provides regular, ad hoc analytical reporting and creates specialised reports for the business
• The key focus of the role is to gather reporting requirements from internal departments/stakeholders, implement a Metrics Program to perform data analysis and help the business assess performance against targets and KPI's
• Publish accurate and timely reports as per business
• Implement communication strategies for Program Management Reporting and Analysis
• Look for new innovative ways to improve Program Management & Metrics Reporting across all Pramerica’s Business Functions, from Development, QA, Operations, Finance and all other shared services departments by analyzing the various tools and processes across these groups and recommend solutions that will bring efficiencies in these areas.

Manage Internal Application

• Monitor and track Internal applications in Pramerica owned by TBM
• Deliver the pipeline of work to enhance the applications as per business need 
• Enhancing the existing internal application process to manage and control all internal development deliverables to ensure each initiative adds value.
• Review business requirement documents created to ensure that user acceptance criteria are clearly provided  
• Facilitate and conduct UAT (if applicable) to ensure that the application can be released to meet the end user business needs.
• Assist TBM Manager  to manage internal applications within the available budget 
• Attend all TBM requests in a timely and effective way  
• Provide training on Internal Applications and tools to the end users
• Co-ordinate Recertification on Internal application

Business Continuation  - Manage documentation in LDRPS

• Maintain and enhance appropriate and effective Business Continuation Planning documentation ensuring Pramerica is compliant with BCP requirements.  
• Co-ordinate and administer the Standard Operating Procedures db to be compliant with Corporate  requirements

• Strong administration & multitasking skills are essential.
• Needs to be a very proactive individual that can work with minimal supervision
• Creative and flexible approach to problem solving
• Attention to detail
• Very good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation.
• Strong team player, able to respond under pressure to many demands adhering to aggressive timescales and enjoys steep learning curve
• Has initiative and ability to react to changing priorities

Position Requirements and Education:

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level and have analysis experience.

1. Strong analytical skills
2. Proven ability in an MIS role
3. A working knowledge of statistical techniques
4. Knowledge of MIS application  and experience in Business Intelligence
5. Proficient in MS Office
