Title: Senior Lean Business Process Engineer EMEA

Purpose Statement 

Partner with Business, Function and Region Continuous Improvement Champion / Franchise Leader to drive continuous improvement for the organization and deliver world class productivity improvement rates and transformative cycle time reductions. Provide mentorship and instant support for Businesses, Functions, Regions in value improvement and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspire Business, Functional and Regional leaders to become change agents to empower a continuous improvement culture: Business, Functional and Regional Leadership Teams (VP, Director, Manager and practitioner)

Collaborate globally with functional managers, process managers and customers to create continuous improvement strategies, goals and plans based on Business, Function and Region requirements and needs.
Utilize and mentor global community on process improvement principles, systems, tools and roadmaps (VIP, Lean, DMAIC and Problem Solving).
Facilitate kaizen events to target key improvements and drive productivity improvement and cycle time reduction to meet stated goals.
Facilitate best in class Lean, Lean Business Process (LBP), and VIP training for employees at all levels.
Lead benchmarking efforts to identify and integrate Lean, Lean Business Process (LBP) and VIP best practices into the organization.
Collaborate with Global Councils to drive improvement: Lean, Lean Business Process (LBP), Engineering and VIP.


BS/BA Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Industrial Engineering / Lean related experience.
Proven results applying lean in manufacturing and transactional environments.
Demonstrate strong project management skills.
Effectively summarize and analyze data; make recommendations.

Quality System Requirements
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding and wide application of principle, theories, and concepts in the field. Applies a full understanding of area of specialization to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships.
