Senior Health and Safety Officer - Construction 

Our client is an established housing developer who is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Officer to join their team. The role would be predominantly based on site on a number of developments in Co. Meath, North Dublin and one in Co Waterford. Our clients head office is based on the Southside of Dublin City.

This is a standalone role and would suit an experienced hardworking, hands-on and motivated individual who would come in and make this role their own. 

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' construction experience, preferably in the residential sector. 
  • The successful candidate must be able to work on own initiative, be able to give instruction to site personnel and have a good working knowledge of safety legislation.
  • Responsibilities will include carrying out safety inspections, producing risk assessment, accident/incident reporting, conducting site safety inductions, toolbox talks and identifying training requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Educated to a minimum of Diploma Level 
  • Full Drivers Licence - Company Vehicle Will Be Provided 
  • Be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Knowledgeable of BCAR requirements involved in preparing Job Safety Files / Handover Documentation
