Search Account Advisor - Italian Market 

Organization / Department structure 

The European Online Support team provides world class services to Yahoo!’s extensive advertising base across the Europe, and beyond.  The team supports 10 languages across 12 markets, providing email and phone support services, assisting search advertisers by providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries. As they reach out to and touch all New Sign ups, the Online sign up team is the first point of contact for any new business starting their advertising campaign.

 Position summary

As a Yahoo! Search Account Advisor you will be the front line contact for Yahoo!’s extensive, and growing advertising base. Focusing primarily on customers who have signed up on line, you will respond to their inquiries through both phone and email, taking ownership of the inquiry to its conclusion and ensuring the highest quality response. As an Account Advisor you will provide outbound, proactive support to customers helping to drive both revenue growth, by upselling keywords and ads, while improving the quality for the advertisers advertising efforts.  You will do this through using a host of internal tools and applications, as well as your knowledge of the Search marketing, and Search Engine Optimization. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed team and individual goals
  • Service Level agreements for in-bound phone and email
  • Outbound phone/email activities
    • Provide world class customer service across all forms of communication
    • Assisting clients with editorial guidelines, billing, technical questions/issues and resolving them with-in Service level guidelines and at a high standard of quality.
    • Advising clients on their online account and on how to optimize their account/campaigns
    • Retaining client base through account/relationship management
    • Activate new accounts and configure them for success
    • Managing selected pool of clients in order to improve Return on Investment (ROI) and retain and grow revenue 
    • Execute on projects as assigned in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Ability to convert sales opportunities effectively
  • Ability to work in a Multicultural and cross functional environment
  • Problem solving orientated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Ability to understand complex concepts
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to work on large volumes of work quickly and independently.
  • High level of Italian and English
  • Third European language a bonus
