We are now seeking a Scheduling Manager  to join our team in Ireland.

Duties & Responsibilities

To plan and schedule the activities of Technical Inspectors conducting inspections at Commercial Vehicle Testing Centres and at HGV and LGV Operator’s Premises in Ireland as part of the statutory CVR Inspection programme on behalf of the Road Safety Authority.

To prepare and compile reports on these inspection activities on a regular basis.

 Key duties:

  • To prepare monthly and annual plans for Inspections and upload into corporate system.
  • To design, prepare monthly schedule of inspections at CVR Testing Centres and at HGV and LGV Operators premises for a team of up to twelve Technical Inspectors to ensure the maximum efficiency of the activities, considering factors such as: Location, priority and specific activity.
  • To upload data into corporate IT system.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports of performance of the Technical Inspectors.
  • To provide support to the Operations Manager and Quality Manager in resource management.
  • To communicate with CVR Testing Centres and at HGV and LGV Operators regarding inspections.
  • Assist with the gathering of evidence for serious cases of non-compliance

Although based in the Dublin, the successful candidate will be expected on occasions to attend meetings etc. in other parts of the country.

 Education, Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidates ideally will be a Graduate.

They must be self-motivated, highly organised with the following experience:

  • Organisational Resource planning and scheduling management.
  • Analysis, review and maintenance of contract schedules and preparation of performance reports.
  • Collation and preparation of data
