Right now we are looking for a SAP Business Process Manager joining our team and can be based through the EMEA region!

Role Description The Integrated Process Team are looking for an energetic and innovative person to apply their business process knowledge in combination with their SAP functional expertise to make significant contributions to business process improvements and system enhancements across the global manufacturing and supply network. In addition, the successful candidate will drive adoption and optimisation of SAP across the manufacturing and logistics sites that have recently deployed the system. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects with a global focus.

As an SAP subject matter expert, the incumbent will work to

  • Ensure Value Realisation for SAP through business process harmonisation, supporting business change & continuous improvement
  • Assist in SAP Deployments by ensuring appropriate coordination for Business Technology resourcing, budget and projects
  • Drive further adoption of the system post go live through coaching teams and optimising use of the system
  • Use a thorough understanding of project/program processes and strategies to identify projects, quantify benefits and prioritize initiatives that contribute to the objectives of the site or functional unit

Business Analysis and Consultation Partners with business clients, process owners and key stakeholders to identify business process and system improvement opportunities (potential opportunities may initiated through client requests, KPI reviews, SME interviews, VoC surveys, etc.). Provides expert advice in identifying solution alternatives including business process changes, master data settings, and systems enhancements by maintaining an advanced knowledge of the existing system configuration in providing this assistance. Encourages feedback while discouraging unnecessary variances from existing standards.

Business process management and Continuous improvement Leads development of detailed business requirements. Determines and verifies solution concepts by partnering with process owners and technology experts (CoE) providing recommendations, and comparing the actual solution to the original requirements. As necessary, leads clarification sessions using prototypes, use-case scenarios and other tools to facilitate discussion and set appropriate client expectations. Partners with development team to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Leads business case development by defining the high-level scope, conducting feasibility studies (of possible solution approaches), participating in impact & cost-benefit analyses, conducting risk analyses, and ensuring alignment with the business client’s overall strategy.

Change ManagementIdentifies and quantifies the change impact by conducting stakeholder analysis; discussing and documenting business opportunities; developing regulatory assessments; and facilitating and documenting the initial solution concepts.

DeploymentSupports project execution (ongoing requirements elaboration, design reviews, functional reviews and supporting the application development lifecycle) for initial system deployment as well as delivery of continuous improvements. Participates in and provides leadership for medium scope, complex, cross-functional projects demonstrating creative adaptation of existing standards and system configuration. Working with the site deployment teams, PGS BT global domains, and the SAP CoE, drives consistent deployment processes. Demonstrates knowledge of all aspects of project management methodology leveraging tools and concepts to allocate and schedule BT resources and coordinate services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS/BA or MS/MA or PhD in IT field or related Business equivalent.
  • 3 years in-depth experience with at least one SAP module and general familiarity with 2-3 additional modules to include; APO, PP, MM, QM, SD, FI, CO Preferably acquired during a full SDLC implementation
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen
  • Lean/Sigma certification– minimum yellow; preferably green belt; ideally black belt level
  • Expert knowledge of MS-Office
  • Meeting facilitation skills a plus
  • A background in a manufacturing environment an advantage
