Job Title:  Review, Input and Assign Team - Representative

Location:  New Century House, IFSC

Background of Unit:

The Management of mortgage arrears is a key priority for the Group and is the responsibility of the Mortgage Arrears Resolution Strategy Business Unit (MARS) within the Retail Ireland Division.

The Arrears Support Unit is a dedicated unit dealing with Mortgage customers in financial difficulty and deals with residential mortgage accounts in arrears and pre-arrears. This includes Principal Private Residences and Investment properties. The Mortgage Resolution Team within the Unit will manage accounts for which there is no long term solution available within the current treatment options. 

Background of role:

The primary objective of each official is to process efficiently and accurately SFS documentation submitted by NAMS/Mortgage Advisors/MABS and Customers.  He/she will have a thorough knowledge of the SFS process and ensure that all procedures are accurately followed and that work is carried out to agreed standards.    Other duties include logging/tracking SFS(s), training staff, working Q22 3 Months Forbearance CACS Queue, Queries and Ad Hoc Reports. The role holder will support the achievement of the business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logging and tracking of SFS(s)
  • Check that all fields in SFS have been completed, SFS signed and dated by all relevant parties and all required documentation provided
  • Process SFS working across 3 systems MAST, AS400 and CACS.  Run ICB and allocate SFS to correct team for assessment
  • Highlight problems/trends to Section Leader which may require corrective action or improvement
  • Keep up to date with all relevant procedures, legal and compliance requirements
  • Ensure all actions initiated comply with regulatory and internal procedures
  • Support in the training of team members as required
  • Work Ad hoc Reports as Required
