Description

The Retail Accounts Executive role will involve the development and maintenance of a solid customer base and professional and accurate management of customer accounts. This role will involve actively seeking ways to generate new business.

 

The Retail Accounts Executive role will involve the development and maintenance of a solid customer base and professional and accurate management of customer accounts. This role will involve actively seeking ways to generate new business.

 The ideal candidate will identify ways of maximising profitability to the company on the existing range of products supplied, specifically mobile handsets, mobile phone enhancements, accessories and other related products. The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to problem solve and will be well presented. You will also need to have excellent communication skills. As this role is road-based, a full driving licence is essential.

Product & Purchasing support

- Identify new products for introduction into range.
- Ensure that we have the most up to date product and technical knowledge
- Investigate competitive RRP's for new products.  
- Analysis of sales trends to drive purchasing requirements.
- Producing sales forecasts for forth coming product requirements


Channel support
- Primary contact for all store managers.
- Conduct in store product training and technical support.
- Produce comprehensive competitor analysis for retail channel.
- Aid in the design and roll out new planogram on agreed periodic basis.
- Create product support guide.
- Provide up to date compatibility matrix.
- Review weekly report pack for key customers.
- Monthly review with all key customers.
- Merchandise stores with new products and change in planogram layout.
- Support new product ranging and stock transition process.
- Produce monthly product update including EOL and new launch products.
- Monthly price list circulation to key customers. 
- Ensuring SLA's are met with all customers.
- Produce monthly channel feedback format 


Business Development
- Proactively support the business growth through new customer acquisition and new business opportunities.
- Explore new non traditional channels to increase business


Key Skills
- Third Level Qualification is desirable
- Ability to work under pressure within a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Self-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
- Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills
