The Prostate Cancer Research Consortium is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in biomedical sciences to join their team at the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research as a part-time research assistant. You will be responsible for the organisation and retrieval of biological samples from the Prostate Cancer Research Consortium Bioresource from across its three sites in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Beaumont Hospital and St James Hospital.    
The successful candidate will be part of a large multidisciplinary, trans-institutional and international group of scientists working together with urologists, pathologists and clinicians working on biomarker discovery and validation for prostate cancer.             

The position is on a part-time basis (3 days/week or equivalent) for a fixed term of 12 months starting on 1st January 2013, renewable for an additional 12 months.
