PrePayPower is recruiting a Reporting Analyst to join its Business Insights team.


PrePayPower is Ireland’s first and largest dedicated supplier of Prepaid Electricity. We introduced the concept of electricity prepayment to the Irish marketplace and have acquired over 120,000 customers to date. Having recently entered the Domestic Gas market, we are the fastest growing prepayment supplier in this area.



Reporting Analyst Position


PrePayPower is recruiting a Reporting Analyst to join its Business Insights team. The team works with various functions of the business, managing and analysing data in order to meet critical business needs and to provide actionable insights that will help function leads improve performance and increase efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical ability, an apititude for analysing large volumes of data and an interest in using creative reporting techniques to highlight critical insights and suggest process improvements and efficiencies. They will be comfortable working with colleagues and managers across the company, and will be able to present their findings in a clear and concise manner to senior management when required.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse lead and sale data to assess and compare the results of various marketing campaigns across the sales channels of the business
  • Report on sales performance, agent activity, and breakage across all DR and Field Sales teams, and highlight any trends, patterns or changes that may impact overall conversion and sales performance
  • Analyse sales activity nationwide across a range of criteria in order to identify successes, challenges, areas for improvement and potential learnings for the ongoing sales strategy of the business
  • Develop excellent working relationships with function leads across the PrepayPower team, in order to cooperate with them to provide high-grade analysis on diverse aspects of the business
  • Continuously look to improve the reporting suite by improving existing analysis or adding new reports, with an emphasis on practical, achievable solutions and recommendations for the business


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar data-focused role
  • 3rd level qualification in a data analysis or business discipline preferred
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
  • Knowledge of SQL Server is an advantage
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to deal calmly, resiliently and positively with pressure in a fast-moving and challenging environment
