Acquired Brain Injury Ireland formally The Peter Bradley Foundation is a not-for-profit client centred organisation, providing a range of specialist residential and community services to adults with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) throughout the country.

We are currently recruiting for:

1 Year Fixed Term Rehabilitation Assistant 19.5 Hours in our Glenageary Residence
Reporting to: Local Services Manager / Community Services Manager
Location: Dublin South .

Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term 19.5 Hours

Purpose of the role: The role of the Rehabilitation Assistant is to support people with acquired injury to live valued lives in the supported living unit and to facilitate optimal independence and participation in activities within the home environment and in the community.

The successful candidate will need the following skills, competencies and qualifications to meet the demands of the role:

Applicants should have previous care-work experience, preferably within a Residential / community setting.
Good level of education - Health or Social Care qualifications required.
enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable, and diplomatic and open to change
a good team player
good inter-personal and communication skills
Full driving licence .
