Deloitte currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to join our Risk Advisory Regulatory team as a Regulatory Reporting Assistant Manager/Manager to work on a series of client engagements and to assist in the further development of the practice.
Our Risk Advisory practice helps organisations to meet regulatory challenges in a fast changing environment. The team provides practical solutions to regulatory issues and partners with clients to help them navigate regulatory change and its impact on the organisation’s business model.
Prudential Regulation is now a prominent and key driver of the strategy and business and operating models of organisations and therefore the Deloitte Risk Advisory team operates at the highest levels in these organisations.
Prudential Regulation continues to be a growing market and presents a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their knowledge and skills in the area, increase their experience of dealing with senior management and grow with the practice.
Regulatory Reporting engagements including;
Implementation of changes arising from changes in regulation (IFRS 9, AnaCredit, CRR II)
Technical advice on key regulations such as CRD IV/CRR
Provision of subject matter knowledge to assist Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit functions to perform their oversight role for prudential regulation
Upstream monitoring and advice on new regulatory themes and requirements (e.g. Basel Committee of Banking Supervisors, European Banking Authority, European Central Bank, Central Bank of Ireland)
Assist clients to transform their regulatory reporting operating model in order to keep ahead of regulatory expectations (e.g. address data quality, organisational and governance issues)
Provide technical training to clients across all lines of defence
Working on regulatory reporting related projects from initiation to close including development of service proposals, executing, managing and developing more junior colleagues and assisting the Engagement Partner/Director
Working and managing relationships with client senior management
Developing subject matter knowledge through training and working on engagements
Working with the wider Deloitte European and global regulatory reporting network to identify and deliver best practice solutions
Developing your network in the local financial services community
Contribution to thought leadership on prudential regulation topics
Developing a regulatory reporting competency (guiding 3 - 4 years relevant experience, but we are flexible)
Desire to develop other prudential regulatory competencies and strengthen your regulatory reporting competency
