A&G are a leading manufacturer of specialised concrete products and are looking a sales focused individual to join their expanding Sales Team.

 

Post:  Regional Sales Consultant                  

Location: Republic of Ireland (counties Dublin, Meath & Louth)

Hours of Work: 8:30am – 5:00pm   Monday to Friday

A&G are a leading manufacturer of specialised concrete products and are looking a sales focused individual to join their expanding Sales Team.  This role would be suited to a graduate or someone with previous experience in sales and or working on commercial sites.  Full training will be given to the successful applicant.  

The main purpose of the role will be to effectively manage and develop key customer relationships, follow up on all opportunities generated by the Business Development Team and generate new opportunities to enhance sales in the area of responsibility. The successful candidate will also work closely with our Product Specialists to enhance sales.

KEY DUTIES

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers;
  • Following up on all new opportunities and cold calling on site to generate new business;
  • Working closely with our Sales Support Team for quotations, order processing and pricing agreements;
  • Representing A&G at trade exhibitions, corporate events and product demonstrations;
  • Fully utilise A&G’s CRM system to record and analyse account information and promote excellent customer service;
  • To work effectively with all other functions of the business, to ensure the highest level of customer service;
  • To act as an ambassador for the company and promote its values, at all times.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Secondary education including Leaving Cert at Grade C and above in English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of sales
  • Previous experience of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of geographical territory
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills

DESIRED CRITERIA

  • Previous knowledge and experience of Customer Relationship Management
  • Knowledge of construction Industry
  • Existing relationships with a variety of key customers
  • Knowledge of customers and potential competitors
  • Existing relationships with a variety of key customers
