Our client is seeking for an experienced Reception Manager to their 4 star hotel. The Reception Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the reception department's operational function and making contribution to the profitability of the Hotel by ensuring effective cost controls within the reception operation and by promoting Hotel services to guests.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

·      Manage the reception operation, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service at all times;

·      Ensure all customers enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently;

·      To work closely in conjunction with budgeted targets and parameters;

·      Ensure adequate resource planning and effective recruitment of the reception team;

·      To ensure that existing SOP's are well communicated and delivered consistently.

·      Ensure prompt recovery of customer complaints;

·      Maximise sales through up-selling, using incentives and promotions;

·      Responsibility for training the reception team to ensure that all team members are competent to carry out their role;

·      Ensure that a positive working environment that supports organisational core values prevails in the reception department;

·      Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety work practice;

 

The successful candidate must have:

 

·      3 years’ experience as a Reception Manager

·      Excellent interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication & organisational skills are of particular importance;

·      Be customer focused;

·      Have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment;

·      Be adaptable and capable of working under pressure;

·      Excellent people management skills;
