The Parkview Hotel, Newtownmountkennedy, Wicklow's Newest Wedding Venue, is located south of Dublin on the N11 between Dublin and Wexford, nestled between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea. The Parkview Hotel, Wicklow has a unique atmosphere that combines sophisticated design with homely comforts. 

The Parkview Hotel offers 60 spacious guest rooms including four Superior Suites and four Family Rooms. The Parkview Bar has a unique feel to it that makes it prefect for some relaxing time out. Our signature restaurant Synnott's has a casual, chic and friendly atmosphere, serving Bistro style food. While our conference and banqueting suite is ideal for any occasion of up to 250 people. For smaller groups of up to 20 delegates, we can offer our boardroom as the ideal setting. 

The hotel is surrounded by world famous golf courses, wonderful mountain walks and historic houses & gardens. All this and more is only one hours drive from Dublin Airport. 

County Wicklow contains outstanding and breathtaking scenery of mountains, valleys, lakes and coastlines. Glendalough one of Ireland's most popular tourist attractions is just 20 minutes away. 

There are also many charming villages such as Enniskerry where you can stop and have a coffee and enjoy the surrounding countryside and is well situated to explore the Powerscourt House, Gardens & Waterfall. The Parkview Hotel is ideal for families with many activities which includes Glenroe Open Farm in the area

 Reception Manager

Potential Candidates should,

  • Have similar experience in this position.
  • Take responsibility of all areas on the department.
  • Be able to work on own initiative and possess the ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
  • Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
  • Provide reports, as required, for housekeepers and management.
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team. 

Competitive salary based on experience.

A knowledge of Micros Fidelio systems is beneficial.
