Project and commissioning engineer

 

Project and commissioning engineer m/f
Location: Tralee, Reference code: IR00009

Your Tasks:
  • Installation and commissioning wind farm control systems
  • Analyzing the Irish grid code requirements in order to comply with these
  • Perform compliance tests of wind farm control systems
  • Documentation and test reporting
  • Analysis and evaluation of electrical grid data, grid simulations and measuring data
Your Skills:
  • Qualified Electrical Engineer - 3rd level degree or diploma with a focus on process measuring / power generation
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in process measuring, power engineering or automation engineering
  • Knowledge of measuring technology and control engineering
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology
  • Experience within the wind industry an advantage
  • Professional membership of Engineers Ireland would be an advantage
  • Flexibility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and authoritative
  • Goal-orientated, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Independent and self-motivated working style
  • Willingness to travel both within Ireland and internationally

The position will include an intensive introductory phase at our headquarters in Germany/Aurich.
