Great opportunity for a Project Engineer in Manufacturing to break into the Pharmaceutical Sector – APPLY TODAY


A 12 Month Contract position my client requires a Project Engineer to work on Engineering & New Technology Projects at their Pharmaceutical Facility.


Leading projects associated with Automation, Aseptic processing, new processing equipment, Packaging, new facility Modifications / Extensions; we are particularly interested to speak with Candidates who have worked in FDA Regulated Environments but we are open to all Manufacturing experience – APPLY TODAY

Relocation Package open to Candidates within the EU and within Ireland.


Job Title: Engineering & Technology Engineer (Contingent)

Location: (Co. Mayo, Ireland – West Coast)


  • Full Time / 12 Month Contract / Day Shift / Possibility for Extension
  • € (Dependent on Experience & Open to Negotiation)
  • Relocation Package (EU, Including within Ireland)

The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure that the project meets its agreed goals on time and on budget. The E&T engineer reports to the Project Manager and ensures the equipment / facility design and targets are achieved.



  • Safely coordinate the delivery of equipment to the site based on planned timelines and scope. Equipment would include e.g. autoclaves, LAF units, moulds, extruders, packaging equipment, upgrades, lyophilsers, isolators, containment booths and stopper processing equipment
  • Coordination of equipment installation and services hook up, working with equipment vendors and engineering personnel
  • Lead the Project Team or support the Project Manager in Factory Acceptance Testing program
  • Coordination of all equipment documentation requirements
  • Commissioning of equipment for validation activities
  • Preparation of equipment training and maintenance protocols
  • Deliver Process improvement projects as part of OPEX program
  • Lead regular Equipment/Facility Project review meetings




  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Similar Discipline
  • 1 – 3 Years Project Engineering experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Knowledge of: Autoclaves, LAF units, moulds, extruders, packaging equipment, lyophilser technology, isolators, containment booths and stopper processing equipment
  • Experience of working within either the medical device or pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage but not necessary
