An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Operations Department for a Project Engineer to gain experience in a challenging and hands on role.

 

Position:                     Project Engineer

Reports to:                 Operations Engineering Manager

Duration:                    11 month contract 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Operations Department for a Project
Engineer to gain experience in a challenging and hands on role.  This is an 11 month contract based in our
head office in Dublin 12 and reports to the Operations Engineering Manager.

 

THE JOB

The Job Responsibilities:

  1.  To provide engineering/technical support to Operational Depots.
  2.  To assist in the maintenance of the Health & Safety Document management system.
  3.  To assist the Operations Engineering Manager with projects in the areas of Plant Safety, Road Transport etc.

 

THE PERSON

The Successful Candidate will:

 

  • Hold a primary degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience desirable but not essential
  • Be a competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Have the ability to work within a team but also work on their own initiative
  • Must have full driver’s license
  • Have the capacity and flexibility to travel throughout the country as required
  • A knowledge of Health & Safety legislation is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of PEMAC maintenance software is also desirable
