The role: People Development Coordinator

Partnering with business leaders to develop tailored programs that set our Googlers up to succeed in their roles, the team creates development opportunities that allow for Googlers to take control of their careers. As a member of the People Development team, you are always thinking about how we can create a workplace that allows for our Googlers to grow personally and professionally. You leverage technology to create innovative learning labs that connect Googlers to new ways of learning, and have a passion for helping Googlers unlock their fullest potential.

In the People Development Coordinator role, you will serve as the primary resource point of contact for Googlers on learning and development operations, logistics and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Have specific curricula knowledge and insight of programs to be able to communicate with Googlers, trainers and facilities and ensure efficient and effective implementation.
  • Track learning program data, aggregate metrics and provide regular reporting.
  • Maintain training and events calendar and attendance database; coordinate training rooms, attendees and facilitators.
  • Maintain and update programs on the Google LMS, and configure and administer programs through the system.
  • Provide back-up coverage for content management including content creation and hosting. Manage cross talent team projects such as space planning, onboarding and team events.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including group facilitation. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong drive and commitment for Learning and Development.
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented; ability to handle simultaneous projects with moving parts.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and productive interdepartmental working relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, an understanding of group and corporate dynamics, demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in an occasionally ambiguous environment. Excellent knowledge of Google app???s, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and HTML and JavaScript.
