Pension Administrator - Group Corporate Pensions

 

The Role
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Pensions Administrator in Group Corporate Pensions.

Key Accountabilities
The responsibilities of the successful candidates will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:

Taking charge of the administration of a portfolio of group schemes under the direction of
a team leader, administration includes;
- Production of renewal accounts and benefit statements
- New Entrant inputting and issuing
- Reconcile group suspense and sub account balances
- Issue pre-renewals promptly
- Issue leaving service options and benefits payments
- Finalise retirement options

Ensure that service agreements are met and that all correspondence is viewed meticulously to ensure a high quality and accuracy that meet's our 'world class service' ethos.
Make a significant contribution to key projects across the organisation on a regular basis.
Provide vital assistance to the Pensions Team Leader on a day-to-day basis. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Assist in the training and development of other team members as necessary
- Contribute to the planning for the successful running of the team
- Provide cover for other teams when necessary

Skills and Experience
Technical Competencies:
- A minimum of 3-5 years life/pensions administration experience
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel & Word
- Knowledge of Defined Contribution pension schemes, PRSA, Pension Board and Revenue requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Have a recognised industry qualification or have made very significant progress in obtaining a relevant pension professional qualification that meets Central Bank Minimum Competency Requirements

- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
- Be well organised and capable of working to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Be enthusiastic ambitious self starter
- Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with all colleagues and clients.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
