An excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator is now available in Dublin 17 from now until potentially Christmas! 
This is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed for someone that has a strong payroll administration background within a fast-paced environment.
We require applicants to be available immediately for this position and available for 4 weeks, with the potential to extend to before Christmas.
Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft word & excel is required.

Information

  • Salary between €28,000 - €30,000 DOE
  • 20 days Annual leave on an accrual basis
  • Hours 9am- 5pm
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Duration: Minimum 4 weeks potentially extended until mid-December 2017
  • Start: Immediately.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process and deliver fortnightly payroll
  • Ensure payroll delivered on time to agreed deadlines and to necessary standards
  • Validating and inputting all data received to agreed deadlines.
  • Checking inputted data and making all relevant corrections
  • Handling routine, non-routine and complex customer queries regarding payroll
  • Liaising with both internal and external contacts like Revenue, Tax Office, Social Welfare Offices etc.
  • Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, reconciling hours on a weekly basis
  • Administration of employee information into the system such as starters, leavers and employee changes; and the processing of timesheets, absences and time amendments.
  • Deal with payroll queries on pay, tax and PRSI deductions, hours worked and holidays
  • Input rates, account numbers, filter by days take out zeros, check elements are correct, check for duplications.
  • Updating on SAP system changes in bank information, email addresses telephone numbers of existing employees before payroll import.
  • Importing Tax credits & SRCOP from ROS.
  • Inputting of timesheet data to SAP
  • Matching of signed client Job sheets against wage time sheets, to be given to invoicing.
  • Processing of late time sheets
  • Checking of Job sheets for discrepancies, and making any necessary adjustments
  • Retrieving authorised signatures of payroll cheques
  • Update names template with leavers.
  • Preparation of P45’s, submit P45’s to ROS, print P45’s.
  • Completing of statutory documents, forms, letter requests scanning forms and saving into relevant folder, updating post-Log. Social Welfare forms including Maternity Benefit MB10, FIS.
  • Responding to and resolving employee queries as they arise;

 

Key attributes, skills and experience required for this role include

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Payroll environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge/Experience of SAP is desirable although not essential.
  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical way.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadline
  • Experience within a fast paced environment is key.
