Outbound Support & Development Agent


  • Supporting the triggered daily needs of our dealers on a wide variety of queries, ensuring their resolution & satisfaction via phone & email
  • Having a thorough understanding of customer priorities and identifying key improvement areas
  • Providing feedback on emerging issues on the site
  • Driving for results through seasonal campaigns - outbound calls
  • Contributing to meet & exceed team targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Support of the UK motors strategy as a part of the operative eBay structure
  • Identifying customer issues and necessary process improvements through operative accuracy
  • Analyze and understand the dealer and their business, including future business direction.
  • Supporting the daily needs of our dealers on a wide variety of queries, ensuring their resolution & satisfaction via phone & email (e.g. consultation calls, trigger calls, customer satisfaction surveys)
  • Call types will include: Contract renewals, on hold/suspended calls, activations, contact info changes, no listing calls, dealer consultations & feature comms. and sales (incl. key accounts)
  • Required to support inbound activity as needed
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude to work
  • Develops effective working relationships with peers and superiors
  • Works as a team to ensure that dealers requests are actioned effectively
  • Log information accurately
  • Achieve quality & metric driven targets as set out by supervisor
  • Independently use all channels to stay informed with regards to department specific knowledge
  • Maintain open communication with team supervisor and manager
  • Continually display initiative to take on additional responsibilities towards professional growth
  • Knowledge of eBay Motors Pro or the motor industry an advantage
  • Experience in cross & up selling and long term customer relationship & service
  • Excellent communication, influencing & negotiating skills
  • Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through
  • Must have fluent English - both written and oral
