Org Effectiveness & Learning Specialist, EMEA (Dublin)

Twitter is growing fast. This role will be responsible for partnering with the Head of Org Effectiveness & Learning (OEL) & the Head of HR EMEA to execute key organization-wide & EMEA initiatives that will help scale the business, develop managers & all employees at Twitter. We need someone who can “think big” but also get their hands dirty.

The person in this role will help Twitter become a globally-focused organization. It will report to the Head of OEL and dotted line into our Head of HR for EMEA. The role is based out of our EMEA international headquarters in Dublin.
Specific Areas of focus include:  

New Hire Onboarding: 

  • Leverage existing content from general NHO (New hire orientation) and build regionalised version of the experience. 
  • Facilitate NHO sessions locally 
  • Continue to iterate on the NHO experience based on feedback and scaling considerations
  • Work with OEL team to analyse and leverage metrics as input into what’s working and what is needed
  • Create a 90-day process for both managers and individual contributors in EMEA to ensure a successful onboarding process

Team Development/OD Consulting

  • Get certified in team assessment and facilitate team sessions
  • Partner with HRBPs on targeted solutions as needed 

Org Wide Initiatives: 

  • Contribute to core team on survey vendor decision, creation of questions, approach, rollout, analysis and follow up communications/actions 
  • Program manage all details of rollout including communications, training, updates. After survey rollout, analyse results, and work with Head of EMEA/HR to make recommendations on next actions. 
  • Drive global rollouts such as survey, feedback, key development sessions. 

E Learning/Instructional Design 

  • Identify e learning tool to leverage for roll out of core content 
  • Work with Head of OEL/Head of HR/EMEA to understand EMEA needs and create plan for ensuring remote employees are getting what they need 
  • Network and stay connected to EMEA learning network and continue to ensure we’re at the forefront of learning technology & design. 
  • identify best mechanism to roll out compliance training for managers and individual contributors 

Professional Development

  • Identify ways to leverage existing manager development content and create learning sessions for individual contributors (leveraging e learning tools) 
  • Identify best tool for ensuring global awareness and mindset as we continue to grow and scale
  • Contribute to learning page on company intranet to ensure global representation

  • 10+ years experience in L&D
  • Preference for experience in high tech, creative, nimble, high-growth environments
  • BS/BA required - MS/MA or PhD a plus (Instructional Design, Organizational Design, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or Psychology preferred)
  • Coaching & Consulting background a huge plus
  • Instructional design (must have) 
  • Learning technology experience (nice to have)
