Oracle E-business Super user – Train to be a Functional Consultant  in Belfast

We have the largest locally-based Oracle implementation and managed support services capability in the country and a depth of expertise across the Oracle stack including Database, Middleware, E-Business Suite and Business Intelligence. We have built a successful Oracle E-Business Suite Practice which provides consultancy, development and support services to a range of Irish and International organisations. Our E-Business Suite consultants have the opportunity to work on projects featuring the very latest technologies such as Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

We have recently set up an Oracle centre of excellence in Belfast to replicate the success of our Managed Services Practice in Dublin.

We have an opportunity for an E-Business super user who is interested in formal E-Business training leading to career path as E-Business Functional Consultant


Major duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on functional business support for applications in Order Management, Process Manufacturing, Manufacturing, Inventory, etc.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements on IT projects
  • Provide hands on implementation and post implementation support
  • Participate in testing of EBs Implementation or upgrade

Technical skills and Expertise

  • 2 + years’ experience in E-Business Super User  role
  • Experience of manufacturing industry
  • Participated in testing of EBs Implementation or upgrade
  • Experience of business support role
  • Interest in formal EBs training leading to career path as EBs Functional Consultant
  • Knowledge of Oracle R12 modules ideal.
  • Hands on experience of working with Oracle Support ideal
  • Some Functional knowledge and understanding of Oracle:
    • Order Management (OM)
    • Inventory (INV)

Nice to Have:

  • Financial processes in AP, AR, GL,  CM
  • Advanced Supply Chain Planning

Personal qualities and competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience of working effectively within a team and of displaying good communication skills.
