Wassenburg & Co B.V. a medical device company from the Netherlands, designs, develops and manufacturers a range of products for the decontamination and storage of flexible endoscopes. We have an exciting opportunity for an Office administration and finance role, based in our office in Santry, Dublin. You will have the overall responsibility for supporting the National Sales manager and Managing Director

 

Job Purpose.

Our vacancy is for a well presented and highly experienced Office Administration and Finance support person who wants to work in a small team environment. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience and skills.

 

Duties will include:

Accounting Duties include:

  • Manage day to day medical orders to HSE & Private Healthcare accounts
  • Processing sales quotations, invoices, receipts and payments
  • Prepare financial statements and report to Managing Director and Group Controller
  • Completion of vat returns
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing systems
  • General administration and office duties

 General support duties include:

  • Facility management.
  • Organize travel and meeting arrangements for senior management
  • Draft correspondence, memos, minutes, reports, documents and presentations using a variety of software.
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing correspondence, including post and booking couriers.
  • Greeting visitors, organising hospitality and managing meeting room bookings

 

 

Skills/Attributes

  • Previous experience in a busy environment is essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external sources
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise as the role varies day to day.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
  • Have supported at director level or higher for a minimum of two years.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with an emphasis on the ability to coordinate the daily activities of senior management.
  • Accountancy experience essential
  • High levels of accuracy with attention to detail

You must be hard working, have exceptional time management skills, solution minded, pro-active and be able to think outside the box and work effectively under pressure. The role is varied so therefore a degree of flexibility is essential.

 

Qualifications –

  • Previous experience of working within a medical devices environment is preferable
  • Minimum leaving cert or Part Qualified Graduate
  • Part Qualified accounts person either IATI Qualified or Qualified by experience
  • You will have excellent communication and team-working skills with a high level of energy and urgency to deliver results. 
  • You will demonstrate leadership with both internal and external stakeholders at all times.
