        What is Souvenaid?

 

  • Souvenaid is a medical nutrition drink to support the network / connections of the brain in mild AD.

            Purpose (Key areas of role)

 

  • Drive the Souvenaid business in the whole of Ireland.
    • Build relationships with a range of health care professionals including those based in memory clinics, Geriatricians, Psychiatrists of Old Age and Neurologists. 
    • Build relationships internally with the Souvenaid marketing team and take an active part in developing promotional campaigns and associated support materials.
    • Deliver results against the Souvenaid sales plan.
    • Delivery of Souvenaid sales and market share targets.
    • Maintain the Nutricia Medical reputation in Ireland through excellence in customer service with all stakeholders and key opinion leaders.

National Role (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland)

Liaise with the Souvenaid Marketing Team to ensure successful implementation of marketing campaigns.

Help to organise successful HCP educational meetings and study days.

 

 

Organisational Relationships (Internal & External regular contacts)

 

Medical Ireland Sales andMarketingteam

Healthcare Professionals & specialist consultants (Geriatricians, Neurologists,Consultants in Memory clinics, GPs)

 

 

Responsibilities (Key deliverables and tasks by which the incumbent will be assessed)

 

  • To promote through marketing campaigns and support through nutritional education the Souvenaid range of products to:
    • Geriatricians
    • Neurologists
    • Pychiatrists of Old Age
    • Memory Clinics
    • Retail and Hospital Pharmacists
    • GP’s
    • Sales calls may be via one to one meetings, group meetings and presentations.
    • Maintain professionalism at all times to maintain Nutricia Medical reputation.
    • Regular review and have an in depth understanding of results versus sales plan, sales targets and market share targets.
    • Liaise with Souvenaid medical and marketing team in the development of successful marketing campaigns by providing insight into customer needs and concerns
    • Exhibit Souvenaid product range at relevant HCP meetings
    • Liaise with the Souvenaid medical and marketing team regarding regional educational meetings
    • Identify new customers/opportunities to grow the business
    • Feed back relevant information to the Souvenaid team to help maintain competitive edge
    • Update CRM on a daily basis and ensure an accurate HCP database.

  • To communicate promotional strategies for Souvenaid products to the Marketing Manager, Sales Manager and Sales Force
  • To analyse on a continuing basis the performance of Souvenaid and make recommendations for corrective action as needs arises
  • To liaise with other departments such as Finance, Logistics and others on matters relating to souvenaid  i.e. supply etc
  • To develop and maintain a close working relationship with professional customers such as opinion leaders and other relevant business and commercial customers as appropriate
  • To work closely with other marketing & customer service team members to ensure maximum outputs, including excellence in customer care
  • To attend local, national and international sales and marketing meetings as required

 

 

 

 

Experience (industry background, years, skills gained etc, level of experience, etc.)

 

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in the area of Alzheimer's disease.
  • Candidates with general pharmaceutical sales experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge and experience of selling into the Hospital health care business.
  • Requires a highly capable individual with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex clinical research and data.
  • Highly developed presentation and communications skills are essential.
  • Strong report writing skills and computer literacy is essential for the role (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

 

 

Qualifications/Technical knowledge (Qualifications & Accreditation required)

 

  • Science Degree and/or a qualification or background in Healthcare
