 Marketing Manager

The PEI Marketing Manager is a senior role within the marketing department in PEI. This role encompasses the management of a small marketing and design team, and the accurate and timely implementation of a wide variety of support and communications activities, which include event management (for education and training programmes), web and e-comms support, corporate and product presentations, new product launches, branding, customer research, CRM, as well as the management of the company’s marketing budget.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing, PEI’s Strategy Team and PEI’s Commercial and Operational Managers, as well as its Sales Teams to ensure that all customer communications and support activities are achieved to the highest possible standards.

This role demands excellent attention to detail, significant creativity, strong people skills and above all, a very high level of proactivity, to ensure that PEI continues to support its customers, patients and principals as well as it possibly can, and to ensure that the PEI brand (and those of it’s principals) is seen in the most positive light.

You will have a passion for marketing and an ability to transmit this passion onto those others around you. You will not be afraid to challenge your Director, colleagues or wider PEI team on the accepted norms of how things are done, always keen to put forward fresh ideas and creative alternatives.

An enthusiastic, ideas person, with a "can-do" attitude, and one who is not afraid of hard work, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the PEI team focused on the continuing development of business relationships between PEI, our Suppliers, Customers and End-Patients. 

 
Basic Requirements:          

 Relevant Marketing qualification, ideally to degree level

  • 3-5 years relevant marketing experience essential
  • Experience in a similar role an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent IT Skills: All Microsoft Office, Web Analytics, Basic Graphic Design, e-Communications Tools
  • Web administration/management experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Energetic approach to work and self development
  • Excellent verbal & listening skills and an openness and willingness to provide assistance to others when required
  • Proven attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong people management skills
