Lecturer (above the bar) in Veterinary Pathology, UCD School of Veterinary Medicine

Applications are invited for the role of permanent Lecturer (above the bar) in Veterinary Pathology in UCD School of Veterinary Medicine.

The principal duties include the teaching of veterinary pathology to the MVB programme and to residents, the provision of diagnostic pathology services to veterinary clinicians under the auspices of the University Veterinary Hospital and to research through the Research Pathology Consultancy Services. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the administration of the strategic plans of the School and will be encouraged to develop his/her own research programme.            

 2010 Salary Scale: €50,807 - €81,452 per annum
2011 Salary Scale:
€45,726 - €73,307 per annum *

*  Subject to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
