Inside Sales Representatives (IT) -  Based at SWI, Cork Ireland

Our Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for:

Developing Solarwinds business opportunity within designated geography. Achieving revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in form of sales leads/downloads) and provided solutions for their network management needs. Primary duties include outbound calling, e-mail communication, channel co-ordination and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.

 Location: This position will work out of the Cork office.

 The Inside Sales Representative will:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customers during their evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, co-ordinate with channel partners, and close sales
  • Keep Solarwinds management informed by maintaining accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce Submit accurate and timely activity reports as required
  • Conduct product demonstrations via the Internet to potential customer's audiences that are both technical and non-technical
  • Provide Solarwinds Management with information about the local market opportunity and identifying new business opportunities and channel partnerships
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Passion for selling (IT industry background preferable)
  • Enthusiastic and self starting approach Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
  • Experience of using a CRM tool, ideally SalesForce.
  • Knowledge and experience of networking technologies and our overall business environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange
  • Fluent (written/oral) in English
