Head of Traffic Acquisition
An exciting new Dublin based senior management position has arisen for Head of Traffic Acquisition for Saongroup
Role Responsibilities: -
Traffic Oversight
  • Pro-actively manage all traffic sources, organic & paid, balancing the needs of each Saongroup brand within financial budget and delivery expectations.

  • Steer all regional traffic initiatives to ensure that they adhere to current best practice and are aligned to perform in a way that will grow overall traffic & applications and deliver clear ROI.

Traffic Performance Oversight
  • Work closely with Saongroup business and product teams to implement traffic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Group Product Director to match traffic growth objectives to group product development.

  • Work closely with the Head of Product to ensure optimal conversion of traffic sources and resolution of any conversion issues.

  • Liaise with StepStone and all companies within the StepStone group to ensure that traffic initiatives and processes are shared and that proven best practice techniques are implemented across all Saongroup sites.

Direct SEO & SEA activities
  • Direct and own all SEO activities across Saongroup with hands on management of SEO team.

  • In parallel manage all SEA activities balancing budget and delivery with financial and SEO requirements. Work with GM & Group management to agree SEA budgets which reflect business needs.

  • The role will report to the Saongroup CTO and require regular weekly & monthly reporting, liaison and presentations to the Senior Management of both Saongroup and StepStone

Person Specification:-
  • Significant background as a Traffic or User Acquisition Manager in digital performance-based role with a demonstrable SEO skill set

  • Experience in managing SEA/Paid traffic based on multiple considerations e.g. competition, market opportunity, geography, etc.

  • Ability to track, report and interpret key online performance metrics to optimize and drive acquisition, conversion & ROI through all online channels

  • Ability to manage traffic sources across multiple markets, regions and sites

  • Traffic and user acquisitions budget management

  • Experience in managing and driving best practice in traffic management across multiple platforms

  • Excellent communicator with ability to clearly articulate traffic acquisition strategy and traffic performance to senior management and board level

  • Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships with the wider departments and ensure all teams are aware of plans across Commercial, Product, Technical, Marketing and Finance in a previous role is an advantage

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations, and excellent business acumen.

  • Good people management and team leadership skills desirable

  • Third level related qualification is a distinct advantage

  • Willingness to travel to Saongroup and StepStone sites across Europe, South Africa and Central America (10%)
