Description

Head Distiller - The Roe and Co Distillery - Dublin

Head Distiller - The Roe and Co Distillery - Dublin

Do you have a technical background with operations experience in distilling or brewing? Are you an entrepreneurial character with a flair for people, whiskey and all things new in food and drink? If you have the passion, dedication and eye for detail needed to make the best whiskey in Ireland then we want to hear from you.

In 2017 Diageo launched Roe and Co Premium Blended Irish whiskey and announced a €25 M investment in a new distillery at The Power Station at St. James’s Gate. The Power Station is an iconic building in the heart of the liberties within a stone’s throw from St. Patrick’s tower, the last relic of George Roe’s great distillery. The distillery will have a capacity of 500,000 litres of alcohol and it will have a unique visitor experience as the Brand Home for Roe and Co.

We are looking for a Head Distiller who can not only lead the production of our finest malt spirit but who will also be a vibrant front of house ambassador for the distillery and the Roe and Co brand. This will be a pivotal leadership role in the dynamic, cross functional team that will deliver a world leading distillery and brand experience.

The distillery will be commissioned in late 2018 and will open in early 2019. The Head Distiller will start during the summer of 2018.
