HR Consultant – Part-time


Our client is Dublin based and seeks a part-time commercially oriented HR Consultant to support Line Management in the HR aspects of their work.


The principal responsibilities of this position will be in:


  • Providing the requisite coaching skills that will aid proactive Performance Management


  • Developing and supporting the implementation of a proactive managerial approach to improved attendance


  • Supporting productivity improvement initiatives


  • Improving the skills of Line Managers in handling day-to-day HR/IR issues, such as improved handling of Performance Management and Grievance & Discipline issues


  • Supporting a change management culture at Management, Team Leader and Operator levels


The successful candidate will operate in an organisation that has a difficult IR environment and a key task for the HR Consultant will be to improve this situation. It is envisaged that this role will require two/three-days per week of the successful candidate’s time.


Candidates should have a proven track record in HR (particularly IR) and at least 10 years pertinent HR experience, excellent knowledge of informal and formal Performance Management, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
