Description

Working within a small generalist HR team, this will be a busy and varied support role, assisting the team and providing a high quality HR service to our ~135 valued employees and contractors.

 

Principal Accountabilities

 1. Supporting HR Processes

  • Provide administrative support for all core HR Process, especially:

    • Recruitment & Selection

    • Induction & New Starters

    • Training

    • Compensation & Benefits Administration

    • Payroll Administration

2. Administrative Assistance to the HR Department

  • Updating and maintaining the HR Software System – Core HR

  • Letter writing for employees

  • Filing

  • Reporting on HR KPI’s and metrics

  • PO generation and invoice administration

3. HR Events & Communication – supporting HR & company internal communications strategy

  • Coordinate the HR news round up

  • Ensure HR news and communications are up to date on our Intranet

  • Support coordination of employee engagement events & initiatives

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a HR administration or HR Assistant role is essential
  • A working knowledge of core HR policies, process and best practices is essential
  • Experience in recruitment coordination and payroll administration would be an advantage
  • Experience within an IT company would be highly desirable
  • Experience with the Core HR software system would also be desirable
  • Strong ability to communicate in writing and verbally with all audiences and levels of the business
  • Very strong IT skills in particular with MS Office Suite is essential
  • A personal yet professional demeanor, attention to detail, discretion and confidentiality are all essential requirements for this role

Education & Qualifications

  • A 3rd level  qualification in HR or a CIPD qualification is essential
  • Formal training in MS Office Suite / ECDL is highly desirable
  • Fluency in written and verbal business English is essential
