ABOUT THE ROLE

The CFO position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

This role will suit a senior finance professional with at least 10 to 15 years PQE. You will be very commercially minded with a strong personality and excellent experience in progressively senior roles. You will work closely with the business owners and be involved in the following:

  • The development of high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
  • The management of all finance operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Making strategic investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
  • Monitoring of financial performance by measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimising the impact of variances.
  • Supervision and management of a team of established and competent finance professionals.
  • Ultimately responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts approval.

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 10 to 15 years relevant post qualified experience.
  • Strong People Management & Leadership Skills.
  • Experience in working very closely with business owners.
  • Ability to build high value relationships, ability to manage complexity and ambiguity, a credible executive presence.
  • Proficiency in business process leadership; being able to drive project plans from planning process, implementation and communication.
  • Travel when required.
