Graduate Opportunities
Upon joining, you will undergo training to familiarise yourself with our systems. You will be directly involved in a variety of assignments and will be expected to demonstrate the ambition and potential to take on responsibility at an early stage of your career. As a Trainee Actuary you will be encouraged to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness.
 
The role of an Actuarial Trainee includes:

  • Pension plan design including assisting clients with the identification of their objectives and the implementation of strategies to achieve same

  • Advising trustees and employees on the operation of pension plans

  • Advising on the pensions aspects of scheme windups

  • Calculating benefits for pension plan members

  • Assessing the solvency and funding level of defined benefit pension schemes


 
Applications are invited from highly motivated graduates who wish to join our trainee actuarial program. Applications from disciplines with a mathematical or statistical focus are particularly welcome. You will be expected to study for the actuarial examinations. Graduates should be able to thrive in an environment which focuses on achievement, service excellence and teamwork.
